Show attendance is back to pre-covid numbers, with approximately 150,000 attendees on opening day alone. The South Hall was back at maximum capacity, compared to only being at 50% capacity last year. 160,000 people attended the 2024 SEMA show in total, with 10% of these traveling from 140 countries outside the US. Many of the auto industry’s decision-makers and buyers were in attendance, comprising about 44% of the attendees. Over 2,400 brands exhibited this year at SEMA 2024, with over 1,400 exciting show vehicles on display.
The Vegas Loop, a free, underground transportation system that connects and transports people around the Las Vegas Convention Center Campus, featured some upgrades this year with more routes added to their tunnel system. SEMA also offered an industry education platform for professional development and training.
SEMA Fest, a concert held on the last night of the SEMA show, featured musical artists Cage The Elephant, and reggae rock band Sublime with some of their original members! Other exciting events at SEMA 2024 included an electrifying action-sports demonstration by Nitro Circus, featuring renowned freestyle motocross athletes, and Shell Performance Unbound, a race simulator experience.
