Light Truck Tire Facts
Light truck tires are made for trucks that are 3/4 tons or larger, full-size vans, or trucks that haul heavy loads.
Mud-Terrain Tires feature larger tread blocks and special grooves to drain water efficiently, and to give enhanced traction in muddy conditions.
If a snow tire is not an option, look for a tire that is rated with a Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol on the sidewall of the tire.
Taking your light truck, SUV or 4x4 off the pavement onto dirt, gravel, mud, or sand? Look for All-Terrain tires.
